Hello everyone. I'm very glad I've found this forum. I'll admit, translating it from German to English using Google is quite annoying, but It's all worth it! I guess it will help progress my learning of the German language a little bit quicker. Just wanted to say how much I love 1. FC Nurnberg. Actually, I have HUGE admiration for German Football as a whole. The fan scene is superb and that's what attracted me to German Football. I do love my local team in England. However, I find English football so ridiculously boring. There's NO matchday experience here. You go to the game, drink overpriced beer near the bar, go to your seat, and you sit down. In some cases, security come over to you and tell you to sit down. Away Fans don't usually sit down. However, there's still very little atmosphere. One thing that I've noticed about German Football Supporters is that you have a very varied and huge amount of songs/chants that you never repeat during a game. Over here, there's a few chants for each side, but there's mainly chants dedicated for certain players or aimed at the opposition supporters. Hopefully, one day, I'll be able to come over and watch a 1. FC Nurnberg game. Let me try to learn German and I'll be straight over there. Hope you're all having a good day. Try DeepL - unlike Google, DeepL produces translations with a quite sane grammar.
